Morning, New York.
We hope you’re all safe and dry (as possible) after the storm. We’re currently compiling a list of ways to help out now that the worst of the storm has passed—volunteer opportunities, clean-up efforts, benefits, anything—so if you hear of anything in the coming days or weeks, please let us know (e-mail thisweek@timeout.com, or send us a message here).
Right now, the New York chapter of the Red Cross needs volunteers, and the Mayor’s Office has asked city employees who can’t make it to work to volunteer at one of the city’s evacuation shelters.
